Carrie Kayser-Cochran

Carrie Kayser-Cochran is a Sales Business Development Manager within the Global Partner Organization, part of the Global Partner Transformation team, led by Julia Chen. Carrie focuses on driving joint solutions with Cisco software partners, as we collectively transform our business to drive new innovation and business outcome solutions for our mutual customers. Prior to her current role, Carrie spent three years as a Senior Manager within the Partner Acquisition Integration team, working to drive integration strategy for partners and partner programs for Cisco acquisitions such as OpenDNS, Lancope, CloudLock, and BroadSoft. While on this team, Carrie also established the Partner Merge Service, a pivotal end to end process to more effectively help partners merge within Cisco tools and systems. Carrie has also held roles as a Partner Account Manager, Sales Strategy for Manufacturing and Partner Business Development Manager for Emerging Technologies.

Before Cisco, Carrie spend 9 ½ years at Sun Microsystems focused on partner sales and partner program management. She led a team in the development, execution and management of a digitized opportunity registration system within Sun, resulting in increased efficiency, increased partner satisfaction and lower cost of sales for the company. Prior to Sun, Carrie spent 4 years at a Sun/HP reseller successfully selling to Telecom companies such as AT&T, MCI and US West.

Carrie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Barnard College at Columbia University where she was a two sport athlete in basketball and volleyball, earning Academic All-Ivy recognition her senior year. Outside of the office, you can find Carrie spending time with her family, traveling, knitting or trying to keep up with her daughter on the basketball court.
